The Mona Campus hosts numerous meetings, conferences, seminars and workshops every year, in pursuit of its academic and research goals and for outreach purposes. These activities may be for the university community alone or may involve government ministers and officials, private sector executives, academics from other institutions or the public at large. The Campus has in recent years broadened its outreach to the wider society in its resolve to become in a real way, the ‘People’s University’.

In keeping with its developmental plans, UWI, recognizing the need for multifunctional space that will address meeting, training and conference requirements for large groups, has created at the Lodge a state-of-the-art Conference facility.

In over 2,000 sq. ft of space, this facility offers luxurious accommodation for workshops and seminars equipped with audiovisual and multilevel sound systems, and high-speed Internet connectivity.

Elegant interiors provide fitting venues for weddings, banquets, formal dining and other special celebrations in the Gold and Blue Banqueting Halls.

In addition, 14 beautifully-furnished hotel rooms are available with full internet access and other features for the convenience of our guests.

The Lodge is a jewel among the historic ruins of the Mona Campus and provides the perfect setting for those who demand the ultimate pleasure and utility in their working environment.
